The International School of Gemology is pleased to welcome the teaching staff and students of the Gemological Institute of Gohar-e Parsian.
This institute was founded in 2003 by brothers Farhad Niroumand Zandy and Farzad Niroumand Zandy. Mr. Farhad Zandy is a 1993 graduate of George Brown College in Toronto, Canada, and moved to Iran to establish the GIGP to assist students there with obtaining a quality education in gemology.

Mr. Zandy joined the ranks of the International School of Gemology Student Body in November of 2005, and joined over 1400 ISG students in 53 nations world wide in the study of gemology.
The GIGP offers a complete program in gemology in conjunction with the International School of Gemology's Registered Gemologist Program. As an Allied Gemology Institute of the ISG, the GIGP maintains a high level of gemological expertise as the two institutes share gemological training techniques and the latest in gemological information.
In addition to the gemological education programs, the GIGP also offers Iran's finest computer based jewelry design program. This three month program is designed to provide the knowledge and training required to give young jewelry designers a world class education in order to compete on an international level. Examples of their design work is shown below......

The International School of Gemology is proud to have the Gemological Institute of Gohar-e Parsian as our Allied Gemology School partner. We look forward to a future of learning and sharing in gemological knowledge for the benefit of all.
