ISG103 Colored Gemstone Grading

This course will provide the student with a complete overview of the evaluation of value factors regarding colored gemstones. The course outline includes:

• 6 Lessons on the practical process of colored gemstone evaluation.
• Color, cut, clarity, proportioning and other factors.
• All course materials by PDF on CD with DVD video lectures for home study.
• ISG Colored Gemstones Grading Certificate of Completion.

This course will teach students the proper protocol for the grading and evaluation of colored gemstones. Upon completion of this course the student will be able to:

• Evaluate a colored gemstone for color, clarity, cut and proportioning quality.
• Evaluate a phenomenal colored gemstone for special features such as star stones, cat’s eyes, etc...
