ISG Happenings and Updates!

Good morning ISG Global Community. I have exciting news for you today regarding the latest events and happenings with your International School of Gemology!

My first article for Southern Jewelry News is out today: The Amazing (and sometimes under-appreciated) Peridot is a fun look at this often overlooked gemstone that offers some wonderful properties and stories. Be sure you have subscribed to this important publication and click their logo at left to read this fun story.

I want to thank Ann Glynn and all the folks at Jewelers Suite for the wonderful coverage of me and the ISG in the “Talent Show” section of the latest edition of their publication: Jewelers Suite. This two-page spread tells not only my story but the story of how the ISG was founded. You can read this article on page 57 of their online publication by clicking the logo at left.

ISG Graduate Resources Page

The ISG has established the Graduate Resources Page inside the ISG Student Home Page located on the website. This is a special area just for graduates to get free advanced training in Litigation and Expert Witness, download ISG logos for your website or print, and get your ISG RGA Appraiser’s Seal. We will be expanding this area with the upcoming free course on Insurance Protocols and Procedures to help you work better with the insurance industry. Visit the ISG website and click on RG/RGA Student Entrance. At the ISG Student Home Page. Click the RGA Seal to visit.

2022 Tour of Tucson

I am pleased to report that we are back in the saddle for next years ISG Tour of Tucson, February 1 – 6. There are great rates available at our old stomping grounds, the Holiday Inn on Grant Avenue. Start making plans to attend and get your reservation early. The rates right now will increase as we get closer to the show dates. I will have more on this next week.

It is good to be back in full operations. Last year took us far too close to the edge of the abyss but by the work of the ISG Community and what I know are angels watching over us, we continue to grow and prosper. More later. Hope you are having a great week.
